Invitation to attend 23RD International Association for Volunteer Effort World Conference.

The Conference will be held in two parts: IAVE VOLUNTEER YOUTH CONFERENCE 15 – 17 September Mercure Resort, Gold Coast.
This residential conference welcomes young people between 16 – 30 years and commences afternoon of 15 September.
IAVE WORLD CONFERENCE 17 – 20 September Convention and Exhibition Centre Gold Coast.
This part of the conference begins on the evening of 17 September at the Exhibition and Convention Centre at Broadbeach with a Gala Dinner.

SOCIAL MEDIA INVITE

Les Malezer has been working in New York to assist the President of the UN General Assembly to prepare for the World Conference on Indigenous Peoples. The conference will be held at the time of the opening of the new session of the General Assembly, and will be a high-level plenary meeting involving leaders, Ministers and high officials of governments.

Mr Malezer will give an address during a brief return to Australia to highlight the importance and value of this event. The presentation will reveal the success that Indigenous Peoples of the world have had in fighting for their rights through international strategies and speculate on the impact that the UN can have upon Australia’s laws, policies and practices regarding Indigenous Peoples over the coming years.
