Congress Co-Chair, Mr Sam Jeffries, addresses the Congress opening ceremony.
“Delegates, you have been entrusted with the hopes and vision fora better life for our First Peoples. You are here, representing the membership and we, who have been custodians of the journey thus far, are grateful for the trust you have bestowed in the ideals of the National Congress. I am proud that all of you are committed to a future for our peoples that is so firmly placed within the knowledge of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors and focused on our future generations.
